Holidays are on, a month and ten days of fun, joy and sleep. What to do in so long a time? Here's some options with which you can make your vacation un-fur-gettable!
1. Visit the mountains - Escape from the heat, commotion and busy schedule of the city. Visit an isolated, quiet place in the mountains, plus you can experience the joy of the adventure sports like skiing, bungee jumping, paragliding, skydiving etc, etc. Hill stations in the Himalayas would be definitely breathtaking.
2. Join a workshop - Join a workshop, have some fun, meet new people, learn new things. Enough said.
P.S. Art, music, dance, theatre and other kinds of workshops would be ideal for your hols.
3. Help your mum - Helping your mum can make both of you happy. Stress will be less, plus you will increase your stamina to work. This can make the holidays special for your dear mother!
4. Sleep and eat all day - Okay, I know this sounds a bit lame, but to some of you out there, eating and sleeping is like living in heaven. Keep going!

The Golden Friend
Running on the runway
A speed so fast
Planning a journey
Above the oceans so vast
I take off into the sky
At an unimaginable height
Feeling the cold breeze
Enjoying the beautiful sight
Not thinking it to be
The inception of a voyage so incredible
Then, among the trees I see
A bird flying towards me
She said a cheerful 'hey'
And quacked a funny laugh
I didn't know what to say
As it had a golden colour
And goldened my day.
I 'heyed' her in return
Oh! I didn't know she was so chirpy
A talkative throat she had earned.
I asked her her destination
She wanted to go to the White House.
Same pinch, I thought
Our place was similar alot.
I said we were going to the same place
She made a pretty good suggestion
Of becoming my passenger she had a craze.
She boarded me and off I took
Forward to the White House we had to look.
We journeyed, over the Earth so playful
Seeming to be a toy
When fnally we saw a big, white building
We could hear our hearts singing.
I made a landing in the green garden
A very different one, indeed.
I had got a new, nice friend
I had sown a friendship seed!

Save Our Earth
"The greenery is ending on earth
Useless manmade things are taking birth
The trees are being cut causing deforestation.
The number of vehicles is increasing
Giving us the polluted sensation.
Water is being polluted,
leaving some to use,
The environment is getting harmed in my view.
This curse would get worse
If we don't care for nature
If we care for it,
There will be relief for every creature."

Folks, I think you have already got my message. Nature shouldn't be taken for granted. If we pollute water, use fossil fuels in the wrong way and waste our natural resources, nature will get hurt. And, nature has its own way of vengeance. Take my advice, treat nature as someone close to you!
