India - My Country

Here's a poem I wrote two years back... enjoy!

A country with many cultures,
A country where martyrs nurture.
Where everyone to everyone is dear.
Where people come together on the drop of a tear.
Yes, this is India, my beloved country.
Here, to follow any religion, everyone is free.
It may be zero in front of other nations,
But to me, it's the best creation.
Here, nature is at its best,
Greenery and fragrance are more than the rest.
I know that you and me,
We all love our country - INDIA

Let's just hope that our country lives up to the expectations of the indian citizens outlined in the poem. Problem is, we haven't got any worthy leader. Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Kejriwal - no one deserves the title of our Prime Minister. Yes, they do seem sinister.

Fortunately, now, the Right to Reject is one of the strings of our electoral guitars. We can choose the 'None of the Above' option and simply make our day.

'No, thanks. We need humans for the position. Can't detect any!'

What interests me is that will any votes be cancelled if we choose the option? It would just be that we would go to the EVM''s, choose the 'None of the Above' option, and return. If there'd be no negative votes, wouldn't it be better to just sit at home and donot vote? If no votes would be cut by choosing the option, what's the difference between sitting at home and driving miles to reach the centre and vote? Duh!

Well, hope some better is done. I wish that the things portrayed in my poem really come true!
