Supernatural

Imagine, you're in a cold, dark room. There are a few antique furniture pieces contained in the room, like a grandfather clock or a rocking chair (which is rocking ominously). You are getting that feeling inside you, THAT feeling (if you know what I mean). Out of the corner of your eye, you spot a broken piece of mirror on the desk. But lo! It isn't your face. You quickly turn back to look, and find absolutely nothing there. You glance back at the desk. The mirror has disappeared!...

Realized how far your imagination can go?

So, as you might have thought, I've been thinking of ghosts lately. What I've also discovered is that they are the hot topic in many schools. My research is on, to find whether they really exist or not. Here are some stories (or are they myths?) that may develop equal interest in you!

(I'm not putting the images as it's night time and the images are way too scary. You can search them yourself!)

Everyone must have heard of Bloody Mary. According to the modern belief, if you stand in front of the mirror at night, lights switched off, a candle in your hand, and chant 'Bloody Mary' three times, she will appear in the mirror (means she is behind you) and when you turn back, something or the other may happen to you. Apparently, the people have come to ignore this belief in modern times, and have made a joke on it...

'What will happen if you stand in front of the mirror and chant 'Bloody Mary' three times?

.
A. Your mom would tell you to shut up and go to bed!'

How bad can it get?

So last but not the least I'm going to cover the myth relating to Bhangarh Fort in Rajasthan. You might know a bit about it, cause HT Brunch covered some details. So, here we go!

Wondrous to know that outside the gates of the fort, there is a board of the Archaeological Survey of India saying that entry after sunset is not permitted. Something fishy, isn't there? Well, the truth is revealed...

Bhangarh, a deserted town in Rajasthan, was established in 1613 by King Madho Singh, son of great Mughal general, Man Singh of Amber. Bhangarh was abandoned soon after being built and supposedly after it was cursed by a magician. In ignorance Ajab Singh, the grandson of Madho Singh, raised the palace to such a height that the shadow reached the forbidden place. Hence the devastation of entire town of Bhangarh happened. Local villagers say that whenever a house is built there its roof collapses. People say that nobody returned who stayed there after dark. Also, there have been traces of black magic in the abandoned market.

Basically, I only think it's a rumour. Nothing's true. The people are always on the run to spread such myths!
